Leadership Team The RE/MAX Leadership Team truly reflects the outstanding agents of RE/MAX Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces. Their strong leadership skills, dedication and experience as real estate sales associates has proven to be the winning combination for leading regional sales teams to success.
Pamela Alexander has been involved in the RE/MAX® organization since its inception in March of 1980.
Her brokerage, RE/MAX® Professionals Inc. was the first RE/MAX® franchise to open in Eastern Canada with approximately seven sales associates at that time. Over the next 15 years, with Pamela’s vision and direction, it grew to over 250 sales associates in three offices.
In January 1995, Pamela joined the Regional Office as Regional Director for RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada Inc., and has since been promoted to CEO. In 1999, Pamela became CEO and Managing Director for three regions in the United States and one in Canada and currently, she supervises over 15,000 sales associates. Her comprehensive understanding of the real estate industry, its trends and future direction, as well as her strong business skills have focused and directed the regional teams with respect to on-going success, increased market share and agent growth.
She has received several awards from RE/MAX® International including the Top Transaction Award in 1991 for one of her offices as well as the Broker Owner of the Year for Multiple Offices in 1992. In 1999, Pamela became the 32nd recipient of the Distinguished Service Award presented by RE/MAX® International at their worldwide convention held in Orlando, Florida. This highest achievement award has only been presented 58 times in the last 34 years.
As well, Pamela has been regularly featured as spokesperson for RE/MAX in the Canadian media. The National Post, a major national newspaper in Canada, selected Pamela as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Canada for 2003. In 2005, Pamela was prominently featured on the cover of LORE Magazine in the United States as one of the Five North American Real Estate Ladies.
Internationally, Pamela is a sought-after public speaker. In recent years, she has traveled extensively throughout Europe to share her vast experience and expertise in the field of organized real estate with Regional RE/MAX® Owners. In this role, Pamela has been able to provide invaluable insight, advice and mentoring to the sector’s most influential European entrepreneurs. Her engagements across the Pan-European continent have been very well received, given the enormous potential and opportunity that exists for the real estate industry.
Pamela’s focus outside her professional life has always been her family. She is the proud mother of four children. She spends her leisure time with her husband in exotic travel destinations or weekends at their cottage in Muskoka. Pamela is an avid reader and enjoys long walks in the Muskoka woods or on the beach in Nantucket, time spent reflecting, planning and most of all enjoying nature.
